Norwich, UK
January 3-4, 2014
Deadline for submitting abstracts: September 1, 2013

The British Association for Slavonic and East European Studies (BASEES) Study Group of the Russian Revolution launched a call for papers for its XL Conference, which will take place from 3-5 January 2014 at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK.
The BASEES Study Group of the Russian Revolution aims to help promote new approaches to the study of the Russian Revolution between the 1880s and 1932. From its foundation in the 1970s it has had two main activities: an annual international conference and publications, notably the twice-yearly refereed journal Revolutionary Russia. Additionally, the SGRR sponsors panels at the annual BASEES conference, and has sponsored a number of document publications in Russia.

Papers should concentrate on any aspect of the history of the revolutionary period between the 1880s and 1932.
Guidelines for submission

All those who wish to attend and/or to present papers should contact Prof. Peter Waldron at p.waldron@uea.ac.uk . The call for papers will close on 1 September 2013. Papers will have to be submitted by 20 December 2013 to allow for circulation amongst the group.
